 Coach Schuitema: Grant lost in 4 sets to Kent City at the Newaygo District. Our girls came ready to play and executed very well in set 1, defeating Kent City 25-22. Our defense was great as was our serve receive passing tonight, which has been consistent all season! In the remaining sets, we made more errors but we battled, and kept making effort plays. We lost the next 3 sets, 18-25, 17-25 and 20-25. We have really grown this season and I'm so proud of the girls - our record in our last 22 games is 15 wins, 5 losses, and 2 ties. That is a strong finish and something to be excited about for the future of our program!
