All ten players made it into the scorebook led by Noah Robinson and Jason Reuther who each knocked down a dozen. Coach Jones: “We shot the ball really well, and played pretty good defense. The Lions were paced by Bryce Decker with 17 points and 10 rebounds followed by Josiah Long with 14 points and Dyllan Bazzett with 11 points. Newaygo (1-0, 1-3) returns to conference play Friday when they host Kent City. Grant 48 Shelby 44 The visiting Tigers from Grant battled the host Tigers of Shelby throughout the game to earn the victory. Eight Grant players made it into the scorebook led by Austin Whitney who hit for an even dozen. Mason Woodard added 9 while Oakley Obenauf and Gage Cronk chipped in 6 each. Grant (1-0, 2-1) travels to Holton Tuesday to take on the Red Devils.
