Fremont Grapplers Secure Second Place

Packers top Lions, fall to Warriors

The Packers traveled to Chippewa Hills High School to complete their dual meets within the CSAA Gold Conference.  They were undefeated in the CSAA heading into the evening, and faced #4 state ranked Chippewa Hills.
The Warriors handed the Packers their first conference loss, defeating Fremont 54-16.  Packers tallying victories were Chase Knudsen by a score of 12-2,  and Kyler Kolk and RJ Thome who both recorded pins.  
In their second dual of the night, the Packers outshined the Newaygo Lions by a dominating score of 78-6.  Scoring pins were: Matt Long, Gage Montague, Dennis Halasinski, and Kyler Kolk. The other victors were: Gage Breuker, Jager Kibart, Matt Halasinski, Trey Breuker, Chase Knudsen, Caden Christoffersen, Austin Kukal, RJ Thome, and Eli Beasley.
The Packers repeated as the CSAA Gold Runner-Up for the 2018-19 season.
