Double Sweep For The Cloud

Brown collects 16 RBIs in 4 games

Monday  night for the 2nd time in 6 days the Varsity Girls faced Hesperia in a doubleheader. This was a make-up date from April 20th postponed due to the mild spring we had. The girls scored in every inning, getting  6 in the 3rd on the way to a 16 – 1 4 inning win. Hannah Brown went 4 for 4 with a 2B and a 2 run Home Run and collected 7 RBI’s. Madeleine Seabrook had 3 hits with a 2B, Hallie Schulz and Cierra Kneeshaw each had 3 hits, Allison Schulz had 2 hits and Jordan Bulk added a hit and 2 RBI’s. Hallie Schulz got the win from the circle.
In the 2nd game, after falling behind 3 – 2 after 1, the girls sent 16 batters to the plate and rallied for 12 runs in the 2nd. Hannah Brown had a 2B and a 2 run HR and 4 RBI’s. Madeleine Seabrook, Olivia Bowman and Kara Davis each had 3 hits,  Hallie Schulz had a 2B and 3 RBI’s, Allison Schulz and Madison Smith each had 2 hits with a 2B and 2 RBI’s for a 17 – 7   5 inning win. Kara Davis picked up the win.

White Cloud 6-6 Morley Stanwood 2-4
Tuesday, the Lady Indians jumped out to a 4 run lead in the 1st inning on the way to a 6 – 2 win.  Hannah Brown had 3 hits including 2 doubles and 2 RBI’s, Madeleine Seabrook had 3 hits with a triple and Jordan Bulk added a 2B.  Hallie Schulz got the win.
In the 2nd game, the girls went up 3 – 2 after 1 on a 2-run HR by Hannah Brown and were leading 6 – 2 headed into the 7th only to see Morley put up 2 runs and strand 2 runners to hang on  for a 6 – 4 final. Hannah finished with 2 hits and 3 BI’s, Olivia Bowman had 2 hits with a 2B and Hallie Schulz collected a pair of hits.  Kara Davis picked up the win.
