Cloud Track Takes On Conference Foes

The White Clousd girls team traveled to Lakeview to compete dually against the Wildcats, Reed City, and Big Rapids. The girls dominated in field events averaging a 10-point edge against each school. Shaylia Richardson took 2nd place overall with a PR throw of 26-1.5 in the shot put, followed by Jayla Perrin’s PR 3rd place finish of 25-2.  Shaylia also took 4th overall in the discus with 73-1. Charlotte Karnes took 6th in the discus with 72-7, and PR’d in the shot with 22-2.  Payten Bird’s throw of 73-2 was a 3rd place finish, Izzy Shockley took 5th in the pole vault, Mariah Edwards was 3rd in the high jump behind Annie’s Feldpausch’s 1st place overall jump of 4’8.  Long jump was led by Gabriella Dakin’s 2nd place finish (14’3) and Hailee Brown’s 4th place finish (12’10).  Autri Horton also had a PR jump (8’9.74). In the running events, Justice Dixon took 3rd place in the 100 (13.4) and 4th in the 200 (28.6).  Caedy Traynor ran for a 3rd place in the 100H (19.4) and 4th in the 300H (57.5). Annie took 5th overall in both the 1-mile and the 2-mile.  The girls now prepare for the league championship where several of the girls are ranked in the top 10 of many events.
