The Suggestion Box By N3 Entertainment Squad Ok folks, there are two great events Friday night but our hunch at N3 World Headquarters (now located somewhere on the road back from Mississippi) is that they are diverse enough to perhaps not be in conflict with each other. The Dogwood Center is the site of the 2017 Fly Fishing Film Tour beginning at 7pm. If you like fly fishing, know someone who likes fly fishing, think you might like fly fishing or just enjoy really incredible films showing... ...some of the most scenic sights involving water to be seen in the world, this event will please you greatly.
It’s sponsored by those local suppliers of angling equipment, the Muskegon Fly Shop who are bringing this outstanding film festival to our parts for the third year. See our article at: http://www.nearnorthnow.com/sports/fly-fishing-film-fest-coming-to-the-dogwood For more details And for those who like to indulge in a little of what our Fashion/Disney/ Theater/Eclectic Contributor Mollie Jo Swendrowski calls ‘high fashion’ there is Runway on the Rapids a wonderful fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Program at Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences. Mollie will be reporting on the doings but to really capture the essence of the event (as well as opening up those purse strings to help the cause) you need to be there. Details are in her article at: http://www.nearnorthnow.com/features-and-fun/runway-on-the-rapids-to-benefit-ms-program Saturday? No question. It’s the Home & Garden Show, the product and services extravaganza put on each year by the River Valley Chamber folks. It starts at 9am and is held at the Newaygo Middle School. Once again refer to our article at: http://www.nearnorthnow.com/living-well/home-garden-show-coming-saturday So there you go Near Northians. A weekend of options for your participation pleasure.
