New Look Nativity To Be Unveiled At Christmas Walk Story by The Art Squad Photo by Maureen Roslanic Last year during practice for the local community choir concert Linda Andrejcak mentioned that the Nativity set that is displayed each Christmas season was sadly in need of restoration. The director stated that... she would donate the money collected for her gift from the choir to the project.
Brenda Huckins Bonter volunteered to coordinate the project and enlist painters from the Thursday watercolor class at St Mark’s to do the painting. Along with Brenda, Maureen Roslanic, Deb Cunningham, Joy Router, Shari Werner, and June Squires have been working several hours each week to complete the painting in time to install the Nativity in time for the Christmas Walk in downtown Newaygo on December 2.
