Also, the Tree Canopy Zip Line will be open to the public on October 28 from 4:00–7:00 p.m. and October 30 from 1:00–5:00 p.m. Soar 85 feet in the air through the tree canopy for over a thousand linear feet of adrenalin-pumping zip lines; how’s that for scary?! Riders must be at least 43 inches tall and weigh at least 50 pounds, and no more than 275 lbs. All riders must sign a waiver, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and parents or guardians must sign the waiver for children. The Loop Zip, which covers the first two sections, is $12 per rider; The Dual Zip, which is the longest section and features two dueling zip lines is $15 per rider; or ride the Complete Canopy Tour for only $22 per rider. Just about anyone can do it with their easy-access launch/landing platforms accessed via stairs, and smooth, gradual “walk-off/on” take-off and landing ramps. Along with Huntington, activity sponsors are Gerber Life Insurance, and Patriot Realty. For questions and group reservation information, contact Camp Newaygo at 231-652-1184. Comments are closed.
