Dinner Supports Newest Public Art Project By Marianne Boerigter The Fremont Public Art Committee hosted its annual fundraising dinner on June 30 at the Dogwood Center. With wonderful food catered by Gala Gourmet and entertainment by talented local musicians, it was a great evening and a wonderful way for the community to support the city and public art. The photo at right shows Artist Joe Krajkewcz, Erica Krajkewcz and Mayor Jim Rynberg with maquette of sculpture "Oak Arch" The dinner is one of several fundraising efforts to support the installation of the town’s next public art project and raised... ...just over $3,300. The next public art piece selected for the City of Fremont is a large sculptural piece, “Oak Arch” by artist Joe Krajkewcz. The location will be near the Fremont Library and The Gateway Senior apartment complex in the downtown area.
