 Calling All Quilters On Thursday, June 9, the Tall Pine Quilters Guild will be hosting Debbie Grifka as their speaker. Ms. Grifka is President of the Ann Arbor Modern Quilt Guild as well as a pattern designer and national teacher. She will be talking about the main characteristics of Modern Quilts and showing the quilts she has designed. The lecture will begin at... ...7 PM at the Newaygo County Commission on Aging Building, 93 S. Gibbs St, White Cloud, MI 49349. For non-members there is a $5 guest fee to attend a speaker program. From 1PM - 4PM, Debbie will be teaching her "Turnstile" workshop at Loomis Lodge in Newaygo. There are a few spots open in this hands-on workshop which includes a light meal afterwards.
