The December meeting of the Newaygo County Democratic Party will be on Monday, December 11 at the Newaygo County Heritage Museum, 12 Quarterline Street, Newaygo. Members and guests can join the Open Forum and snacks at 6pm, with the business meeting starting at 6:30pm. The meeting will have a virtual Zoom option which will be available via the Democrat Enews, or by emailing: [email protected]. The Open Forum at 6pm is a chance for members and guests to discuss issues of concern, and to meet others who follow Michigan Democratic principles. The business meeting will cover community outreach, engagement and education plans, as well as fundraising activities for the rest of the year. A topic of discussion by the (S)POC Committee will be the role of the Precinct Delegate, and how that role can provide effective engagement and mobilization within local neighborhoods.
