White Cloud Bond Passes
White Cloud, MI - The White Cloud Community responded to the needs of their students and passed a bond proposal which will focus on upgrades-particularly in the area of technology.
“I believe people realized we were doing this for the
kids,” said White Cloud Superintendent Barry Seabrook. “This is an opportunity to give them the ability to compete technologically with other schools. It’s what they deserve.”
The final tally gave the Yes vote a 587-430 win.
“The City, Everett Township and Sherman Township really came through for us tonight,” added Seabrook.
Those three precincts favored the yes vote by nearly 200 votes.
“I can’t say thank you enough to our community,” he stated. “We provided them with the information and they responded.
“And they did because it was for the kids.”
