Gerber Memorial shuts all clinics, rehab as dangerous winter hits
Jan. 28, 2019, 11:45 a.m. – Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial is closing all physician offices and clinics for the rest of the day, Jan. 28, starting at noon because of dangerous winter weather and hazardous road conditions. Outpatient rehabilitation services in Fremont located at Tamarac and in Newaygo will also close. Tamarac will also close the building for the remainder of the day. The Gerber Memorial Cancer Center is currently open. Gerber Memorial’s Emergency Department will remain open. Gerber Memorial will provide an update around mid-afternoon. For primary care services, patients are encouraged to use Spectrum Health’s telemedicine service, MedNow. Patients may schedule an appointment via MedNow by calling 844.322.7374, through their MyHealth account and selecting the MedNow tile at the top or by downloading the app from SpectrumHealth.org.
