 Dr. Yuanbin Chen Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Welcomes New Oncologist Gerber Memorial is pleased to announce that a new oncologist, Yuanbin Chen, MD, PhD, is now seeing patients on Mondays at the Spectrum Health Cancer Center at Gerber Memorial in Fremont. Dr. Chen provides care to adults with cancer, with a special focus on lung cancer, mesothelioma and melanoma. He will be joining Kathleen Yost, MD. Dr. Chen is board certified in internal medicine and... ...medical oncology. He attended medical school at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China and received his Ph.D. in molecular (cancer) Biology from Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola University Chicago in Chicago Illinois. He completed his internship at New York University, New York, New York and his residency at both Monte Medical Center, New York Medical College Program, Bronx, New York and the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland.
