I'm not a resident in Grant, but my brother taught there for many years and I have always followed the school news. I wish our school district was as fortunate as Grant's. To have an onsite health care facility is an unbelievable gift for so many people, and here your Board of Education is, kicking them to the curb. It's mind boggling when it takes THREE months to schedule an appointment for just a routine visit. When parents are going to have to have to schedule sports' physicals and any other back-to-school appointments it could be Christmas or later before students are even eligible to play. The clinic provided all the sports physicals and such that were needed. They were right there to diagnose and treat any infectious illness before it became a problem. Things like pink eye, hand and foot, ring worm, strep throat. Now because someone is worried that a kid is going to get information from the doctor's office that they can get online, they want to put everyone's kids at risk. Well, that's not quite fair is it. More people in fairness for everyone, so let's go with that.
