 New Look Camp Henry Holding Open House For Group Leaders, Event Planners Over the past 3 years Camp Henry has been able to invest over $2.5 million into their facilities and is thrilled to now have the capacity to sleep, feed, and provide excellent meeting space, as well as high quality programs and activities year-round, for groups of up to 250. Camp recently completed a Renovation and Expansion of the Don Taylor Dining Hall along with a Renovation and Winterization of the Idema Theater. Over the past 3 years they have also built 7 new cabins and... ...2 new apartments as well as new program spaces and several new High Adventure Programs, including a new High Ropes Course, Giant Swing, Leap of Faith, Climbing Tower, Cargo Net, and Dual Zip Lines. To celebrate these new spaces, they are having an Open House at Camp Henry on Friday, October 14th, geared toward group leaders and event planners. Typical groups that utilize Camp Henry include schools, sports teams, youth and community organizations, and churches. Guests at the Open House can get the chance to connect about planning an amazing experience for their group. Camp Henry staff members are equipped to help provide groups and teams with excellent Team Building, High Adventure, and Camp programs. Come for a tour, grab a cappuccino, test drive a new couch, meet the new horses, enjoy some soft serve ice cream, see how the massive 29’ x 9’ walls on the Theater can open and close with the push of a button, and take a leap from the new QuickJump – from 52’ up in Camp Henry’s new High Ropes Course. Enjoy the fall colors on your drive to Camp Henry on the 14th. The Open House runs from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.
