Ms. Thompson is a Fremont native who did her undergraduate work at Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin before heading for the Lone Star State to enter law school at the University of Texas. After interning at the Travis County Prosecutor’s Office in Austin Texas Ms. Thompson returned to her West Michigan roots and... ...practiced in Oceana and Newaygo Counties before being tapped for the Assistant P.A. position.
She and her husband Jason and their 2 ½ year old son, Logan live in the Fremont area. N3 asked what she felt were the most important aspects of her new job. ”I feel it’s important to balance all interests,” she stated. “To find a way to provide this balance and understanding to the community efficiently while ensuring justice is being served.” “I’m excited to be awarded this responsibility and eager to be part of the work being done in this office.” Ms. Thompson’s experience while interning in the Austin P.A. office is what drove her interest in public service. “When I worked at the PA office it was a perfect fit for me. I knew I wanted to serve the community and this is the place for me to do it. It’s the community that built me, helped make me who I am. “This community is a part of me and I want people to know I am here for them.
