 Five new candidates to appear on Cloud ballot
It appears there will be some changes coming to City Hall in White Cloud as five new candidates make their bid for office in November, The mayoral race features a 2 way contest between White Cloud High School Band Director Jamie Denslow and Jerry LeBlanc who currently serves on the Planning Commission for the city. Acting Mayor Charles Chandler will be returning to his seat on what looks to be a very different City Council in the near future. Four candidates seek to fill three spots and with Jeffrey Murchison the only incumbent running at least two new members will be joining a new mayor come January 1st. Council candidates include Katherine (Kay) Scott, Anthony Johnson, Ashley Zatalokin and Mr. Murchison. Current Council members Herman Becker and Richard Dault will not be appearing on the November ballot. You must register to vote by October 10th to be eligible to cast your ballot in the November 7th election. Comments are closed.
