Pictured Below: New Newaygo County Administrator Christopher Wren and Board Chairman Patrick Gardner Board Bids Hofmeyer Adieu, Welcomes New Administrator By Ken De Laat Christopher Wren is Newaygo County’s new Administrator after signing a three year contract to serve as the supervisor of the county’s day to day operations. The Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the employment agreement with Wren at their regular meeting on Wednesday, April 27th. Hofmeyer is the Supervisor of Laketon Township located near Holland. “You’ve been a calming influence here, having come aboard at a difficult time,” said Commissioner Phil Deur. “On behalf of the board I want to thank you for stepping in like you did.” Elected officials, department heads and employees gathered after the meeting to welcome Wren and bid goodbye to Hofmeyer while sharing in a cake decorated to commemorate the two events.
