![]() 2020 Regional Spelling Bee Hosted by NC RESA Newaygo County Regional Educational Service Agency (NC RESA) hosted the 2020 Regional Spelling Bee on February 25 with 18 district-level winners and runners-up (grades 3 through 8) competing for the regional title. Congratulations to Sophia Fries from Grant Middle School, who was the overall winner by correctly spelling the word pilferer in Round 11. Sophia will now advance to The Greater Grand Rapids Spelling Bee on Tuesday, March 24 at the Gerald R.
