Gerber Foundation Grant Deadline September 15

The Gerber Foundation supports grants for youth programming (from 0-18 years of age) within a four-county area in West Michigan that includes: Lake, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana Counties.
 
A special emphasis is placed on projects focused on:

1. Health, Dental, and Nutrition (access to health and dental services or healthy foods, expansion of services)
2. Early Childhood/Literacy (early childhood literacy and education, school readiness, child well-being and safety)
3. Parenting (education on discipline, early developmental milestones, child safety, etc.)
4. Education incl. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education (science and math education, robotics, etc.)
5. Life Experiences (camp scholarships, FFA program support, scouting, children’s Christmas programs)
6. Other youth programs (school supplies/backpacks for school, select sporting/outdoor activities)

Agencies must be located in or directly serving youth from one of the four counties. Grantees must be a public non-profit (with a 501c3 determination letter from the IRS) or governmental entity to apply.
