![]() Christmas Spirit Available At The Dogwood Tonight! By N3 Entertainment Entities Photos by Tracy Streichhirsch “Oh, Christmas isn't just a day, it's a frame of mind... and that's what's been changing. That's why I'm glad I'm here, maybe I can do something about it.”-Kris Kringle ‘Miracle on 34th St,’ We are, good people, on the cusp of The Big Day. Thought you had ample time left to prepare didn’t you? Well you don’t. We’re not talking about shopping since you’ve either had your outgoing gifts bought, wrapped, and stashed in a safe place by sometime in October (you know who you are) or despite being in a bit of an angst from having yet to start (everyone knows who you are), you won’t be scouring the stores looking for gifting redemption at any price until next Saturday. We’re talking about getting those well planted seeds of... ![]() ...Christmas Spirit into full bloom. Grabbing a little figgy pudding and fa la la-ing your way into these final festive days filled with the elemental essence of the season. Here at N3 World Headquarters and Indoor Christmas Decoration Capital of the Western World, where a Bronner-like experience awaits staff and visitors alike, we are concerned that perhaps you’ve lost a bit of your seasonal cheer. That maybe these latest frigid days have put a pallor on your pa-rum-pum-pum-pum. Well then, gather up friends and family tonight and get to the Dogwood tonight (Thursday)because a wonderful musical vedrsion of the timeless classic we all grew up (or perhaps just grew older) with will be unfolding on the stage. As Miracle on 34th Street tosses open the curtains at 7:30pm. It was always one of the ‘must sees’ at Christmas particularly in the days before cable and satellite when it would appear fleetingly on one of the local stations on a random afternoon or late night in the week or two before Christmas. ‘Miracle’ has long held an esteemed place alongside “It’s A Wonderful Life” and“A Christmas Carol”(Reginald Owen version) and what better way to sink your teeth into the Christmas Spirit then to be delightfully entertained by a tuneful version of a treasured story. Our Dogwood scouts indicate there would likely be tickets remaining should you decide at the last minute to head for the show but you can still call the box office at 924.8885 to secure seating for you and yours. And take a peek at the wonderfully festive lobby. There is an absolute grandeur to the tree that was once again artfully adorned by Fremont Mayor and Definitive Decorator Jim Rynberg. So get thee to the Dogwood. It’s a great show at an outstanding local venue and you can take in some Christmas light viewing on the way home.
