by Indivisible Newaygo County Indivisible Newaygo County will host a rally to protest child sex abuse, demand the release of the “Epstein Files”, and to collect items for local women and children’s services. It will be held on Saturday, August 2, 12pm – 1pm at the stoplights in downtown Newaygo. Donations can be dropped off between 12pm – 1pm at the rally. Other drop off arrangements can be made by emailing [email protected] New, not used items needed and requested are diapers and pull ups; wash cloths and wipes; toilet paper and paper towels; body wash, soap, shampoo, toothpaste & brushes; new clothing from infant to adult including underwear and bras; feminine hygiene products; bedding; paper plates and cups; antibacterial wipes, sprays and cleaning supplies. Please bring your new items in a box or bag. Cash donations will also be accepted. The Rally will shine a light on pedophilia and human sex trafficking, and will demand that the Federal Administration release the “Epstein Files”. These are Federal records that expose the perpetrators behind child sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. “Releasing the Epstein Files is important for our country,” stated Vinnie Sutherland of Indivisible Newaygo County (INC). “In spite of differences between our political parties, US citizens have a common value of safety for our children and young girls, and a rage against pedophilia.” “Epstein drew the rich and powerful into his sex ring that abused young girls and young women,” added Sally Wagoner of INC. “It gave his child sexual abuse and the men and women who participated in it an elevated status in their ‘mile high’ club on Epstein’s private jet. It basically allowed and accepted rape.” “The American People have a right to know who is in those files, and who associated with Epstein. We have a right to know who within our government and among our wealthy corporations that run our country supported pedophilia through action or association,” stated Ms. Wagoner. Jeffrey Epstein was a rich and powerful financier who was a convicted child sex offender along with associates of his. He was found dead in his prison cell, raising concern that his death was not suicide as reported, but was a murder to cover up the names of wealthy and powerful people who associated with him. Republicans and Democrats in Congress have joined together in demanding the release of the potentially incriminating Federal files. “We are happy to see some bi-partisanship in wanting the files released,” stated Jim Renney, also of INC. “Many of President Trump’s supporters are questioning why he is holding back those files. Who do they expose?” Once again INC will collect items and cash for local service organizations that support community needs while also hosting a public rally. Boxes of food were given to local food pantries in April during the USDA funding cuts rally, and Veterans organizations received personal items and cash during the “No Kings Flag Day” rally in June. Indivisible Newaygo County is a group of local citizens whose mission is "Mobilizing our Community to build a more just and prosperous Newaygo County for all through non-violent action."
