Bouwkamp drops 24 on CP
Grant 61 Comstock Park 43 The Tigers will be moving on to the District Final on Friday after taking an early lead and keeping the Panther at bay to secure the win. The offense came alive from the start scoring 20 in the first quarter including a pair of triples knocked down by Jocee Pleune while holding CP to just 6. By intermission Grant had doubled up the Panther and hit the locker room with a 34-17 lead. For Tiger fans there was a bit of redemption after the Panthers bounced the boys team in the FHE District last week. Coach Delamater: “We started well defensively. I thought after our first 8 minutes we didn't play as intense as we were and they tried to out muscle us for the rest of the game. Payton Bouwkamp had a monster game with 24 points including going 9/10 from the line” For the second game in a row the Tigers reached 60 points a mark they hit only one other time this season. Reese Gregg and Lily Gee each finished with 7 and Pleune once again put on display what Coach D called “her disruptive defense.” The Tigers will face Sparta Friday in a game beginning at 7pm at Tri County High Sch
