The Lions were able to make some adjustments at halftime and competed in the second half but were unable to claw back into contention and dropped the Red Division game. Hunter Yearsovich led the Lions in scoring hitting for 16 while Isaiah Miedema and Russell Toth both scored 15. Ethan Reyburn finished with 8. Newaygo (2-2, 4-5) will host Kent City on Tuesday. Kent City 55 White Cloud 39 Host WC lost their second straight game in a divisional matchup with the first place Eagles.
