The visiting Tigers swept all the flights in their first conference dual match against the Packers. Olivia Keelean did not give up a game at #1 singles. Brooklyn Presler and Kathryn Stong won 6-1 6-2 at the top doubles position. Liberty Pleune and Kaitlyn Pascoe won without losing a game as well at #4 doubles. Madi Rodriguez and Beth Ann Golden won 6-1 6-4 in JV action, as did Chi Diep and and Madison Jordan. Thursday: Ludington 6 Grant 2 The Tigers got off to a slow start after the long bus ride, but got the rackets swinging better in the second sets. #1 singles Olivia Keelean fought back from an early deficit to take the first set 6-4 and then 6-0 in the second. Jill Arends at #3 singles won 6-0 6-2. The team of Stong and Presler won the second set 6-4 at #1 doubles. Liberty Pleune and Kaitlyn Pascoe, the Tigers #4 doubles team, played a long tough match taking about 2 hours, fighting to the end 5-7, 7-5, 3-6. Grant's #3 doubles team of Elvira Cruz and Cecilia Ovalle took their opponents right to brink in the second set 5-7. Emma Hetler and Nya Woodland were right there with a 5-8 pro set. Picking up their second JV tennis wins were Morgan Woodard and Amber Luckett.
