Tiger Netter Ovalle Sets Win Mark

D1 Lowell takes match 5-3

The Lady Tigers faced off against Lowell Wednesday evening and while the Red Arrows were able to edge the hosts 5-3 the match proved to be a milestone for one of the Grant netters.
Competing at the #1 singles slot Ana Ovalle yielded just 3 games in winning  her 62nd career match, a win that gave her the all time  school record.
#2 Singles Tyra Zerlaut beat her senior opponent 6-4 6-4 and the #1 doubles team of Emerson Mayra and Ashlyn Schwartz, won 6-4 7-5 for the other two match wins. Violet Rybski and Madisyn Campbell battled at #2 doubles before falling in 3 sets.
