A magical season came to an end for the Panther Volleyballers when they fell to NorthPointe Christian in the regional semi-final. The Mustangs went on to take home the trophy by defeating North Muskegon in the finals
“We started out strong winning game 1, 25-19, then lost the next three 18-25, 10-25, 16-25.,” said Coach Monica Grimard. “Our offense was led by Alyssa Miller with 9 kills followed by Rachel Romero with 6, and both Bayle sisters adding 5 kills each. Aria Thomas and Kyra Sayer each had 12 assists. Emily Bayle and Miller had 10 and 9 digs respectively. Thomas had the only ace. “ The Panthers end their record breaking season with 36 wins, 17 losses, and 2 splits. “They crushed the school record wins in a season from 28 wins and reached their goal to be the first volleyball team in Panther History to put a banner on the wall for Volleyball, by winning the first District Volleyball Title in Hesperia’s History,” added Coach Grimard. “ It has been a great season with many memories made!"
