Hesperia stays undefeated in conference; Bayle, Rumsey lead in kills
The Lady Panthers win three straight sets 25-13, 25-16, and 25-17 to improve to 3-0 in conference play and 13-4 overall for the season. The Panthers were led offensively by Rachel Romero and Brooke Billings with 7 and 6 kills respectively. Emily Bayle and Isabelle Rumsey each added 4 kills for the Panther offense. Both Bayle and Romero served up 5 aces on the night. Kyra Sayer had 11 assists and Aria Thomas had 8 assists on the night. Defensively, Bayle had 2 solo blocks and 3 digs. Romero led the team with 6 digs and Rylee Gleason added 3 digs. The Panthers travel to Traverse City Central this weekend. Next Wednesday, September 18th the Panthers will travel to Kent City to take on the Eagles.
