 At Morley Stanwood Monday Feb 28th Montabella (6-13) vs. Lakeview (3-17)5:30pm Ravenna (5-15) vs White Cloud (8-12) 7pm Wednesday March 2nd Montabella/Lakeview winner vs. Kent City 5:30pm Ravenna/White Cloud winner vs. Morley Stanwood 7pm Friday March 4th Finals 7pm This is most likely Kent City/Morley Round 3 in the finals. Montabella and Lakeview get things started. I Don’t know much about the Mustangs except that they beat Lakeview by 10 midseason. The winner gets Kent City so there’s that. Ravenna had lost 8 out of 9 and rarely came close in the losses. Then the Bulldogs beat Holton who entered the game on a 6 game win streak. Of course when your shooting is as ice cold like the Devils’ was that night 16 points won’t get you a lot of wins. The Cloud could take this one. They have some players who will give The Dogs some trouble. Then they get to meet up with Morley, a team that has outscored them by 72 points in their 2 contests. At Holton Monday Feb 28th Hesperia (2-15) vs. Holton (13-7) 5:30pm North Muskegon (3-17) vs. Shelby (11-9) 7pm Wednesday March 2nd Hesperia/Holton winner vs. Hart (16-3) 5:30pm North Muskegon/Shelby winner vs. West Mich Christian (14-4) 7pm Friday March 4th Finals 7pm. Holton, barring another 16 point performance, should defeat the Panthers again and advance to face a really good Hart team. The Pirates almost knocked off Kent City last week. Yeah, they’re that good. After Shelby makes it a season sweep of the Norse, they go up against WMC The Warriors have lost 4 times to 4 really good teams and have been close in 3 of those. The exception? A season opening 16 point loss to Hart.
