The White Cloud Varsity Baseball team traveled to Mason County Eastern for a non-conference double header. In game one the Indians scored early and often to win 10-0. Ayden Hensley pitched a 6 inning shutout allowing 3 hits and striking out 5. Reece Hewitt fueled the offensive onslaught going 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Brady Strait, Brycen Knight, and Jayden Graves had two hits apiece. In game two the Indians found themselves trailing 7-2 after the 1st inning. Costly errors and timely hitting for M.C.E. put the Indians in a big hole. Reece Hewitt proved to be huge once again going yard in the 4th inning which fueled an Indian comeback. White Cloud ultimately prevailed 14-10 in an offensive duel. Edgar Rodiguez was instrumental in the comeback going 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Steven Zook came up with big hits as well going 2-4 with 1 RBI. Ayden Hensley pitched two shutout innings to secure the win for the Indians. White Cloud improves to 4-6 on the season and hosts the Hesperia Panthers Thursday.
