WC Girls post Five 1sts and Three meet records despite some dicey weather

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Track Team on their dominating performance at the Newaygo County Invitational.  The girls persevered through heavy rain and cold. White Cloud scored 149 points to run away with the victory. Fremont trailed with 109.5, Hesperia 38.5, Newaygo 17 and Grant 10. The girls had many first-place finishes and Meet Records that led the team to victory:

1st Justice Dixon- 100 M (13.1) which is the new Meet Record and 400 M (1:06)
1st Brooklyn Foondle 3200 (15:54)
1st Courtney Coon 300 H (59.2), and New Meet Record pole vault (8’6)
1st The 4x400 (4:42) – Coon, Maike, Graham, Dyke
1st Payten Bird – Discus and new Meet Record (87’5)
