Boys: Tigers Nip Cloud, Cards Edge Lions

The visitors from White Cloud scored the first 11 points and held a 28-21 lead at the half but the Tigers regrouped in the second half and pulled out the win to extend the streak to 7.
Coach Jones: “Proud of how well we played against a pretty good team.”
Coach George: "It was my fault that we got in that situation. I started four seniors who have never started this year to honor them in the last game on their home court. White Cloud is well coached and they played well. My guys learned some things about their intestinal fortitude tonight. I'm proud of them for covering my mistakes."
Zaiden Phillips led the Tigers with 14 points while Sincere Hatch and Wthan DeLong each hit for 11
White Cloud was led by Kaleb Canning who hit for 9 points while Jayden Robinson, Coleson Cruzan and Brady Strait  each finished with 8.
White Cloud (2-4, 10-9) visits Kent City Thursday and Grant (8-0, 17-2) heads to Reed City on Friday. 

Orchard View 70 Newaygo 66
Newaygo went to Orchard View for a non-conference contest and the game didn't disappoint.  The lead was never greater than 8 throughout and as both teams battled for the lead from start to finish with OV eventually getting the 4 point win.  Newaygo was led in scoring by Hunter Yearsovich with 23 followed by Isaiah Miedema with 15 and Ethan Reyburn with 14.
