The Lions went 2-1 Grant stayed with WMC likely contender Ludington for a while before the O’s took control late then absolutely took apart Morley in their conference opener. White Cloud opened with a win over Baldwin then fell to Shelby on the Tiger home court. Fremont also played in Shelby with a different result as they ran away from their hosts in the opener. Then came the conference opener at home where a rugged Mariner team from Manistee came into town and left with the win.
