The Tigers hosted a tough veteran South Christian team for the first time in school history. The teams battled strong winds as well as a little rain to get this dual match in. At the end of the match, and after two "3 set" matches, the Sailors pulled out the victory.
The Tigers got wins by senior Emerson Cole at #2 singles 6-4 6-1 and sophomore Kirstyn Throop at #4 singles 6-2 6-2. This was Throop's 14th win on the season. Junior Jill Arends came back to win her second set 6-2 and battled long and hard to take the super tiebreaker 12-10. While the Sailors swept the doubles matches the Tigers got great effort from all their flights including the #4 team of Kaitlin Pascoe and Liberty Pleune whotook their opponents to a third set before falling 10-4 Grant will travel to Reeths Puffer Thursday to face the Rockets
