![]() Kent Leroy Dykman Sr., age 81 of Holton, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at his home following a decline in his health. Kent was born on January 12, 1939 in Fremont to Melbourne G. and Elizabeth M. Dykman and graduated from Holton High School in 1957. Kent had worked as a tool maker at Johnson Technology in Muskegon for 38 years until his retirement. Kent has been a lifelong resident of the Twin Lake and Holton area and enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, traveling to Drummond Island to his cabin to fish and also enjoyed watching old westerns on television. Kent is survived by his children, Keith Dykman of Muskegon; Kim (Wayne) Buckner of Holton; Kevin Dykman of Holton; Kelly Dykman of Muskegon; Kerri (Marty) Wiseman of Twin Lake; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his sister, Susan Barnes of Fremont; his brother, Rex Dykman Sr. of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. Kent was preceded in death by his son, Kent Dykman Jr.; sisters and brothers, Earlyne Mary Dykman, Melyssa Bushaw, Ron Dykman and Philip Dykman. A time of visitation and funeral services will be held at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
