Dale Sackett

Dale M. Sackett, age 65 of Fremont, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Muskegon on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Dale was born on March 15, 1955 in Fremont to Walter and Pauleen (Edbrooke) Plantiko and graduated from Fremont High School in 1973. Dale started work at Gerber Products Company in Fremont immediately after high school and later retired, following downsizing, from the marketing department after 28 years of service but continued to work in the marketing field for many years including several years at Family Health Care for the Teen Health Program. Dale later began work at Sandy’s Harley Davidson’s in Fremont where she worked in sales and marketing for the past 11 years. Dale enjoyed riding and raising horses, listening to music, vegetable and flower gardening and occasionally baking.

Dale is survived by her daughters and granddaughters and great grandson, Amanda (Keith) Stamy of Muskegon and her daughters, Kira and Emma; Melissa (Mike) Wilson of Grant and her daughters, Jessalyn and her son, Jace and Chloe; her sister, Barb (Ted) Clark of Fremont; her brother-in-law, Ron Frens of Fremont; many nieces and nephews and her dog, Ella. Dale was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Pauleen and Leon Cousineau; her father, Walter Plantiko; her sister, Susan Frens.

A time of gathering to Celebrate and Remember Dale will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Sandy's Harley Davidson in Fremont. Friends are asked to consider making a donation to the charity of their choice in memory of Dale for memorial contributions.
