Arthur Rice

​Mr. Arthur W. Rice, age 87 of White Cloud, passed away on Sunday morning, June 7, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on August 4, 1932 in Hesperia, Michigan to George W. & Laura P. (Crawford) Rice.  Art was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and he was a member of the Fremont Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was a farmer, he raised pigs, he was a sawyer & millwright, and he enjoyed doing metal fabrication. 

Art was preceded in death by his wife Gloria on September 18, 1995.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother & his wife, George W. & Dorothy Rice.  Survivors include 3 children:  Joan Boss of Hamilton, MI., Duane Rice of Muskegon, MI., Cindy Lou Godfrey of White Cloud, MI.; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; 1 brother, Harold N. (Susan) Rice of White Cloud; and by several nieces & nephews. 

​Due to current restrictions related to COVID-19 concerning social distancing, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Holton, Michigan.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society, or to the Fremont Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
