...to cast their ballots on August 2nd for Newaygo County Sheriff.

As we promised in a previous article, N3 has gathered questions from a few community members including Newaygo Community Mental Health CEOMichael Geoghan, Gerber Foundation Program Manager Catherine Obits, retired Newaygo Middle School teacher Mike Hummel, Newaygo County People for Peace member Gloria Switzer, and NCRESA Coordinator of Health and Prevention Services Kayleigh Haase.

 
Each contributed to imparting a wide variety of posers that we hope will provide the Newaygo County electorate a bit more information toward helping to make their decision.

It is the first in what we hope to be a series of such formats involving some of the contested races in our fair county

as well as the one involving the seat for State Representative.

The 10 selected questions have been submitted to the candidates and their replies will appear in these pages soon after their arrival.

And if you haven’t registered? 

Well, you’re too late to get in on the August fun but there’s still time to gain privilege to the polls for the November general election so get cracking and find your way to your county, township or city clerk’s office, a Secretary of State office, or even go online at  www.Michigan.gov/sos.
