White Cloud Rotary Club Honors Outgoing President

White Cloud Rotary Club recently recognized Stuart Sanders as outgoing President; (l-r) Julia Bird-Club Treasurer and Stuart Sanders-Past President.

WHITE CLOUD- The White Cloud Rotary Club recently recognized the Club’s board members for 2017/2018; Bruce Rose, President-Elect, Betty Carpenter, Secretary, Julia Bird, Treasurer, and Stuart Sanders-President.  

Julia Bird presented the Rotary President’s Plaque to Stuart Sanders the Club’s outgoing President.  Julia thanked Stuart for his leadership and for serving as Club President during a very challenging time. An unfortunate fire that destroyed their meeting location necessitated finding temporary meeting sites for the Club numerous times during the year.  Stu also restored the Club’s historic Rotary bell, which was bent and tarnished in the fire.
White Cloud Rotary is a volunteer organization based on the principle of ‘Service Above Self’ and the advancement of high ethical standards, goodwill and civic responsibility. The Club meets every Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. at The Eagles conference room in White Cloud.
