Lt. Colonel (retired) Clare McCombs and his wife Joan McCombs who each represent part of the area’s aviation history were honored guests and many former and current aviators joined Senator Geoff Hansen, Representative Jon Bumstead, city and county officials and community members to commemorate the new era in local aviation.
