Public Comment On Nestlé's Proposed Increased Large Water Withdrawal Accepted - Hearing To Be Announced Later The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) today extended the public comment period an additional 30 days regarding Nestlé Waters North America, Evart, Osceola County, for a proposed increased large quantity water withdrawal made under Section 17 of the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act, 1976 PA 399. Comments will be accepted until December 3, 2016. Written comments... ...can be emailed to deq-eh@michigan.gov.
In addition, the MDEQ will hold a public hearing on the proposed increased large quantity water withdrawal. MDEQ will issue a news release when the date and location of the public hearing are established.
