Mom Samantha Greer said Annelise was originally due on Saturday, Sept. 24. She said she and her husband had read about International Day of Peace on Facebook just before Annelise’s birth and wondered if their child would be born on that day. The UN says this year’s International Day of Peace is devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.
