Gerber Memorial Welcomes International Day Of Peace Baby
Annelise Greer was born on the International Day of Peace and Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial was proud to welcome the 8-pound, 15-ounce baby into the world on Wednesday night together with her parents, Mitch and Samantha Greer of Fremont.
Annelise was born at 10:05 p.m., delivered by Tami Michele, MD.

...in Newaygo County by the organization Newaygo County People for Peace. Founder of the group, Gloria Switzer, and chair Dawn Bushouse helped Gerber Memorial welcome Annelise, with gifts donated by local businesses.
Mom Samantha Greer said Annelise was originally due on Saturday, Sept. 24. She said she and her husband had read about International Day of Peace on Facebook just before Annelise’s birth and wondered if their child would be born on that day.
The UN says this year’s International Day of Peace is devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. The Day’s theme for 2016 is “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.”
