Church Welcomes New Pastor

Family of God Community Church in Newaygo is pleased to introduce our new pastor, the Reverend Chelsea Reynhout.
Chelsea began her undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University in 2005 finishing at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids with a double major in Bible & Theology and Music & Worship in 2012.  Chelsea and her husband Eric married in 2014 and moved to Holland, Michigan where they both served area churches as music and worship directors.
While in Holland, Chelsea answered God’s call to further her education at Western Theological Seminary graduating with a Master of Divinity degree which she calls one of her greatest accomplishments.  Chelsea was then ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament by the Reformed Church in America.
Another blessing was soon on its way;  Chelsea and Eric welcomed their first child, Maggie Mae, in June of this year. They are head-over-heels for their little girl, and are falling in love with Newaygo County and its people more every day. The young family is looking forward to the coming years of  life and ministry here.
Chelsea will be returning from her maternity leave September 16.  Please join Family of God Community Church in welcoming Chelsea and her family to the area and to the church by joining them for worship  Sundays at 10am.
