September Drive Supports North Country Trail

One of the many advantages of living in this slice of bipeninsular paradise is the close proximity and access to the North Country Trail that meanders its way through our area providing miles of enticing walkways.
As hiking continues to grow in popularity, so does the need for resources to maintain the natural beauty of the trails.

The NCTA Western Michigan Chapter invites you to get involved!

The annual My NCT Membership Drive runs for the entire month of September. During My NCT, all new and renewed Chapter memberships are being matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000, thanks to the generosity of four North Country Trail Association members. Those who choose to join or renew at the following levels can receive one-of-a-kind NCTA hiking essentials:

• Individual ($40) or Family level ($55) to receive an official 2022 NCTA Member sticker
• Trail Scout level ($100) to receive an original Buff® featuring custom artwork
• Trail Angel level ($250) to receive a limited edition, stainless steel, Opinel® folding knife
• Trail Builder level ($500) or beyond to receive all three gifts

Membership provides valuable volunteer and planning resources to build, maintain, protect, and promote the North Country National Scenic Trail. Every mile of the Trail is cared for by local volunteer Chapters and Affiliate organizations.

The North Country Trail Association launched the My NCT Membership Drive in 2020 to bring art and nature together. My NCT incorporates the promotion of the North Country National Scenic Trail and the Association through an artist’s visual interpretation of it.
