Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial offers free cooking classes with focus on flavor, nutrition and budget
Fremont, Mich., May 25, 2022 – Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial is offering a free six-week cooking series starting in June. Cooking Matters for Adults classes will be held on Tuesdays, June 14 through July 26, from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at Tamarac, 1401 W. Main St. in Fremont. During each hands-on and in-person class, participants will learn how to prepare healthy, delicious and affordable meals, and shop sensibly on a budget. Participants must commit to attending all six classes. The series includes free take home groceries to practice the recipes taught in class. Registration is required and space is limited.
