New Non-Fiction Book Discussion & More at Fremont Library

The Fremont Area District Library will continue to offer fun and educational events this summer. Just a reminder that children can continue turning in their reading logs for the Summer Reading Program and collect their prizes until the end of August. Summer Reading has wrapped up for adults and teens. Here’s what’s coming in August:

• Wednesday Readers Book Group: Monday, August 8th at 7:00 p.m.
• Junk Journaling: Thursday, August 11th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. For ages 10 & up. Supplies provided, no registration required.
• Non-Fiction Book Discussion: Informational Meeting – Monday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. by the North Fireplace. Are you interested in reading non-fiction? We'll be doing a limited non-fiction book discussion series in September, October, and November. We're planning to meet on the third Monday of each of those months, but we're starting with an informational meeting on August 15th at 6:00 p.m. by the north fireplace to discuss dates and times, types of nonfiction, and formats needed for those interested. • Afternoon Movie for Kids: Thursday, August 25th at 3:30 p.m. Snacks provided and all are welcome! Check with the library later for movie title.
• Toddler Storytime: Wednesdays, August 31st-November 30th at 10:00 a.m. For children birth to age 3.
• Family Storytime: Thursdays, September 1st-December 1st at 10:00 a.m. For children birth to age 5.
