August Events at Fremont Library

The Fremont Area District Library will continue to offer fun and educational events this summer. Just a reminder that Summer Reading for adults and teens ends on August 1st, and children can continue turning in their reading logs until August 10th. Here’s what’s coming in August:

• Family Storytime (Last Day for Summer): Thursday, August 1st at 10:00 a.m.
• Teen Summer Reading Finale: Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 p.m.
• John E. Hudson Presents Afghanistan: A Year in Pictures, Missions, & News with the Special Operations: Tuesday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m.
• Fit for Life Exercise: Mondays & Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. (Plus Friday, August 2nd)
• Movie Monday—Fall Guy: Monday, August 12th at 2:00 p.m. (Rated PG-13; 126 min) Free snacks and drinks provided.
• Books & Bites Book Group: Wednesday, August 14th at 10:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Movie for Kids: Thursday, August 22nd at 2:00 p.m. Snacks provided and all are welcome! Check with the library later for movie title.
