 Where's the best food in our area It is after all a New Year, and being it’s the first week we want to know what our readers reach for when it comes to local eats. Today is the first in a series where we find out what our readers relish (pun intended) when it comes to knocking down their favorite foods,starting with pizza, of course. We divided the emporiums into 4 parts of the county with two selections to choose from in each. IMPORTANT: Please don’t just tell us your choice. Tell us why it’s your fave. In all fairness, there are several other pizza options in Newaygo County which deserve the opportunity to be included in this poll. Next time, maybe a nomination process, or elimination round(s) of all. Just an observation/suggestion.

100 % agree. Croton Bay Trading Post has the best pizza and great prices! Their fire sticks are also to die for!

We are blessed with multiple, good options for a great pie in the area. I grew up in Grand Haven area, so Fricano’s is my all time favorite.

Schindy’s is the best pizza! We drive 55 miles to get their fresh ingredients and unique combinations of toppings. We love the thin crust too! White Cloud is so fortunate to have such an amazing restaurant and owners!!
