Tiger Harriers Place 3rd, 5th

Grant Cross Country competed in the Cedar Springs Invitational with the boys team running to a 3rd place finish and the girls finishing 5th.
The Tiger boys squad saw a number of individuals run their best times of the season as the team's top five earned medals for their finishes. Colton Covington challenged for the lead throughout the race while setting a new personal best time for the 5,000 meter distance. Gannon Carr broke...
...the 18 minute mark for the first time this season taking 11th place overall. Also, finishing in the top 25 for the Tigers were Connor VanderWilt, Tommy Kelley, and Billy Ostyn. Alec Comstock also ran a new personal best to complete the varsity team and Cody Longoria set a new personal best as well in the reserve race.
The Lady Tigers turned in their strongest performance of the year. Zoe Zimmerman, Laura Rubio, Madelyn Harvey, and Gracie Bearup finished 17 seconds apart as they each completed the 5,000 meter course in less than 23:30. Both Zimmerman and Rubio earned medals for finishing in the top 25 of the race. Also running to new records for the team were Mackenzie Whitney and Ashley Bearup.
